Christmas is coming. Or so John Lewis, M&S, Coca-Cola and all other retailers would have us believe. Now don’t get me wrong – I love Christmas, and I look forward to seeing Santa winking on the back of the big red lorry along with all the other exciting preludes to December 25th. However it’s the same old story, and commercial Christmas is being pumped into our homes immediately following the 5th November.
So, if you haven’t caught these already (how could you not have) perhaps you’ll let us know which of these 3 Christmas Ads is your favourite:
For me however, the introduction of Christmas adverts is only highlighting that the end of the year is approaching. And with the end of the year – the deadline for applications for next year’s project! This is simultaneously terrifying and exciting. Having not run a project this year, there is a lot of work coming our way, and we are looking for people who think they are up for the challenge. Perhaps you, the reader would consider stepping out of your comfort zone and applying to join the team. We are looking for people who might be interested in helping to run a project in the future as well, so take a look at the Project Leader Job description and maybe fill in an Application Form 2014 for us! Not everyone who comes with us this year will become a Project Leader, however we are particularly interested in hearing from you if you would be up for it.
Maybe this doesn’t sound like something you can do at the moment. If this is the case we’d like to ask if you can share this blog post on your facebook wall and/or via twitter. Maybe you have someone in mind that you think would be perfect for a Chennai Challenge project. If so, send them this blog so that they can apply before the deadline (31st December!).
In the mean time enter our poll on your favourite Christmas Advert. Just for fun.
